The Recent Trend of Dual Branded Hotels & What It Means
Atlantic Hotels Group was one of the pioneers when it came to the new trends of dual-branded hotels. They’re also the ones sharing their knowledge as they begin to see what the pros and cons of such an approach have been.
While there are some cost efficiencies from this approach, the biggest challenge has been the redundant services offered with the front-of-house operations.
“One of the biggest issues we saw was the company wanted to keep both brands distinct,” Atlantic Hotels Group Chief Financial Officer Arzu Molubhoy said. “We found that having two check-ins was redundant.”
While it’s still early days, there is work to be done in this new model for hotel development.
